Konnichiwa, Mikuites! I initially started this blog in September 2009. I’ve always loved writing; in fact, it’s the career I decided to pursue, since I would be lying to myself if I tried to be anything else.
At first this was more of a personal blog –– I wrote about everything and anything, but as a wise person once said –– “If you try to satisfy everybody, you’ll end up not satisfying anybody.”
After spending a little over a year with Blogger, I decided to make the jump to WordPress. WordPress is not without its hiccups, but I like the streamlined interface.
Since moving to WordPress, I have met a lot of cool bloggers with similar interests. The reason I made the move is because I wasn’t getting as many views as many other WordPress blogs. Also, because Blogger took a decline before summer 2010, although I didn’t notice this until a few months later.
No offense if you use Blogger. It’s not you, it’s the community. WordPress bloggers seem to be more earnest about writing.
After the move near 2011, I focused on writing about anime and I’ve gained a following of sorts (something I never had on Blogger). It’s like I’ve established myself within a community, and I want to continue this trend. If you have a blogroll, feel free to drop me a line and we can exchange links (as long as you blog frequently, like more than once a month. Lol). Some of your readers will read my blog and some of my readers will read yours, so it’s a win-win situation. I believe in the power of networking. I know the Internet can be a scary place, so as a blogger, it’s nice to be part of a group and know that people got your back.
While I didn’t started this blog with the intention of making money, every little bit helps. I do all my blogging for you guys, and any cent you give would be the equivalent of sending a special thanks for all my efforts! If it’s $1 or even $0.01, I would greatly appreciate it. I want to state this is completely optional and you are not obligated. I have been blogging for close to two years now and will continue to do so whether people donate or not. But for any generous people out there: if you enjoy reading my blog and would like to help me out with my “real life” expenses (most of which I sweep under the rug because writing a post about bills and college would probably be boring to you), feel free to click the “Donate” button below.
Thank You

Hey there,
Do you mind if we exchange links? I enjoy your posts quite a bit, so I’d like to add you to my blogroll, if that’s okay. Recently just learned about the wonders of a blogroll, so yeah. ^_^
Ephemeral Dreamer
Sure! I just added you. :)
Hi! A few months ago, I read your “End of the Road” post. I don’t exactly remember what brought me there, but what I do remember was what effect it had on my mentality as a blogger. I was hesitant to request an link exchange with you, because I thought that you were quitting blogging. But now, I see new posts on your blog on a pretty regular basis, so I was wondering if you are up for a link exchange.
Thanks,
bobbierob
Yeah, sure! :D And my intention was never to quit; I was just taking a short break. ^^;
Nice blog! i really like it, if you don’t mind can we exchange links?
